We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team. In this role you will play a crucial part in delivering patient care through the administration of EECP Therapy.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Ensure patients are comfortably prepared for treatment sessions, including explaining procedures, addressing concerns or questions, and assisting with any necessary preparations for a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Skillfully administer EECP Therapy sessions according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist the Clinic Director with patient examinations.
  • Accurately enter patient information into the EHR system or other medical databases.
  • Other job duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in managing administrative tasks within a medical office setting, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Skilled in providing direct patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and providing patient education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Demonstrated compassion and empathy toward patients, with a commitment to care centered on the patient.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure.
  • Eager to expand knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and professional development.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification, required.
  • Current BLS Certification, required.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
  • 1 to 3 years of medical experience.
