EECP is a 35-session course delivered in-clinic, 5 days a week for 7 weeks. That means proximity matters. We operate 11 centers across Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia, chances are one is within an hour of you.
Our clinics cluster around the Texas Triangle (DFW, Austin, San Antonio), Charlotte, NC, and Gainesville, GA. If you live within driving distance of any of these regions, you’re within range of a 35-session course.
Not in Texas, NC, or GA? Patients regularly travel from neighboring states (Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Carolina) for the 7-week course. Our team can help with extended-stay logistics and lodging recommendations.
Call the location nearest you, or let our intake team match you to the closest open slot, whichever is easier.
EECP is an outpatient course, not a one-and-done procedure. Most patients build it into their weekday routine. Here’s what a treatment week looks like.
You’re on a comfortable table while inflatable cuffs around your calves, thighs, and hips pulse in sync with your heartbeat. Bring a book, headphones, or just rest. Most patients leave more relaxed than they came in.
Same time slot each day, your coordinator works around your schedule. Morning, lunch, or after-work appointments are typical. You drive yourself in and drive yourself home, no sedation, no recovery time.
The 35-hour Medicare-approved protocol. Symptom relief typically starts surfacing somewhere between sessions 15 and 25. By week seven, most patients have a clear before-and-after to point to.
Loose pants or shorts and athletic socks. Skip the belts, watches, or anything restrictive at the waist or legs. You stay fully dressed throughout the session, cuffs go over your clothing.
Every clinic has free patient parking adjacent to the building. Most locations are ground-floor accessible. If mobility is a concern, tell intake, we’ll match you to the easiest-access location near you.
Life happens, travel, weather, a bad day. Missed sessions are added to the end of your course. The 35 hours still get completed; the calendar just shifts. Coordinators handle the rescheduling for you.
Many of our patients drive 30–60 minutes each way for a course of EECP, and we have patients who travel from Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and South Carolina to complete treatment. If the closest clinic is genuinely too far, some patients arrange short-term housing near the clinic for the seven-week course. Our intake team can help you think through what’s realistic, call 877.778.FLOW (3569).
Yes, the daily protocol is what drives the collateral-vessel growth that makes EECP work. Skipping days reduces the cumulative effect. The 35 one-hour sessions over seven weeks is the FDA-cleared, Medicare-approved schedule. Occasional missed days (travel, weather, illness) are made up at the end; the course just extends slightly.
Plan for about 75–90 minutes door-to-door: a few minutes to check in and get on the table, 60 minutes of treatment, then a few minutes to get up and walk out. No sedation, no recovery period, you drive yourself in and drive yourself home.
Most of our patients work. Coordinators offer early-morning, lunch-hour, and late-afternoon slots specifically for working patients. Same time slot every day so it becomes routine. Tell intake your work schedule and they’ll match you to a location and slot that fits.
Every clinic has free patient parking immediately adjacent to the building, and most locations are ground-floor with no stairs. If you use a walker, wheelchair, or have other mobility considerations, tell intake, they’ll route you to the easiest-access location near you. The treatment table itself adjusts to assist with transfer.
Yes, patients who travel for work or split time between two cities (Austin/DFW, Dallas/Charlotte, etc.) regularly do sessions at multiple clinics within the same course. Your coordinator handles the scheduling across locations. You complete the same 35-hour protocol; it just happens at more than one address.
No surgery talk. No commitment. Just answers from the team that has helped 50,000+ patients regain energy, walk further, and feel like themselves again.
